Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE JULY 24, 2026

These terms govern use of this website and, together with a signed engagement agreement, the services offered by Tandem Operating Co. ("Tandem"), a Bexley, Ohio business.

What Tandem is

Tandem provides hands-on business advisory and execution services to owner-operated businesses, including diagnostics (the Line Check), fixed-term engagements (the Revival), and ongoing advisory retainers (In Tandem). The scope, deliverables, and success metrics of any engagement are defined in a written agreement signed by both parties before work begins. Website descriptions are summaries, not contractual scope.

What Tandem is not

Tandem provides business operating experience and judgment. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or securities advice, and nothing on this site or in an engagement should be treated as such. Decisions about your business remain yours. Consult licensed professionals for legal, tax, and financial matters.

No guarantee of results

Business outcomes depend on many factors outside any advisor's control, including market conditions, competition, and execution. Tandem defines measurable goals in writing at the start of an engagement and works toward them in good faith, but does not and cannot guarantee revenue, profit, or any specific business result.

Fees and payment

Current pricing is published on this website and confirmed in the engagement agreement. Fees are due as invoiced. Work may be paused on accounts more than 15 days past due.

Confidentiality

Information you share about your business during an engagement is treated as confidential and is not shared outside the engagement except as required by law. Any use of your business as a case study or reference requires your written permission first.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ohio law, Tandem's total liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement, and Tandem is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.

Governing law

These terms and all engagements are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, with venue in Franklin County, Ohio.
